Today we are starting to enter into a wider environment in our lives. Whether in the school environment, residence or work environment. It enables us to automatically develop our potentials by interacting with other people. Of course, when interacting we will be more likely to observe first. And that way we can become more aware that each person has a unique and different personality.

Personality in a person has an understanding of behavior patterns and habits, a person’s physique shown by someone is a person’s daily life (Ahmadi, Sholeh, 2005, p. 158), and personality is influenced by various things such as the environment and family. , can not be separated and is also the beginning of the formation of personal character. A personality disorder, on the other hand, is a way of thinking, feeling, and acting that distinguishes one person from another. Physically, mentally and socially healthy is the definition of healthy put forward by the World Health Organization (WHO). Therefore, a person can be said to be healthy if all the components have been fulfilled. Being healthy means being able to carry out daily activities to the maximum without any obstacles. Everyone expects to be healthy however, the reality shows the fact that there are still many people who are sick both physically and mentally. One form of mental disorder is a personality disorder.

A person’s personality is influenced by experience, environment, and inherited traits. A personality disorder is a persistent way of thinking, feeling, and acting that deviates from cultural expectations, causing thinking difficulties. (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). The World Health Organization found in 2000 that 5 million people worldwide suffer from a personality disorder. This disorder affects nearly 1% of the adult population and usually begins in late adolescence or early adulthood. In men, the disorder usually begins at an early age, around ages 15 to 25, but in women it starts later, around ages 25 to 35. Personality disorders are more common in men than women. So many people who suffer from personality disorders try to pay more attention to the disorder by maintaining our sanity. After knowing a little information about mental disorders, especially personality disorders, it is advisable not to self-diagnose. If you feel you have a mental health disorder, immediately seek help for mental health services at a hospital or other health facility and you can call the hotline 119 to get official mental health services from the Association of Indonesian Mental Health Specialists (PDSKJI). Even though it looks easy to be healthy, it still takes effort and struggle to keep yourself healthy, both physically, mentally, and socially.
