Toddler is a unique individual and has its own characteristics according to the stages of their age. toddler is a golden age in which at this age the stimulation of all aspects of development plays an important role. Many parents deliberately plan their children to enter toddler education before entering elementary school. (Mulyasa, 2012,). But unfortunately, many children are forced to learn in a way that is not fun for them. This can make a child become stressed and ultimately unable to accept new things to the fullest. Even though there are more fun ways to learn, one of which is by playing. Play is a necessity and an important activity for children. By playing children will increase the experience. Considering the world of children, the world of play, through playing children get lessons that contain aspects of cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. (Latif & et al, 2014, p.201). And it turns out that playing can also be used as a therapeutic suggestion for children in various aspects of growth.

Aulina (2014) The Effect of Role Playing on Improving Toddler Social Ability with the subject of 40 children of Kindergarten B Aisyiyah 6 Tanggulangin got the results that playing can improve early childhood social skills. In Tameon’s research (2018) on the Role of Play for Children’s Cognitive and Social Development, the results show that play plays an important and influential role in the period of a child’s self-development. The development referred to in this journal is the cognitive development and social development of children. Cognitive development is a process that occurs internally in the central nervous system when humans are thinking, while social development is development related to the interaction of children with other children.

Dwi Haryanti & Asrul Faruq’s (2021) research on the Physical Motoric Development of Toddler through the Traditional Game of Gasing Ambung Kelapa (A Case Study at the Integrated Islamic Early Childhood School of Biruni, Sungailiat Sub-district, Bangka Regency) found that the application of the traditional game of Gasing ambung Kelapa was in developing physical motor skills. Children go through three stages of the learning process, the first is the planning stage, the second is the implementation stage, and the last stage is the evaluation stage.

Besides, research by Sri Mulyanti and Tatang Kusmana (2018) on the Effect of Play Therapy on Anxiety Levels in Preschool Age Children Due to Hospitalization at Dr. Hospital. Soekardjo, Tasikmalaya City, found that play therapy was able to reduce the level of anxiety in children. Then research by Permata (2020) on Puzzle Games on the Problem Solving Ability of 4-5 Years Old Children with the subject of 34 PKK Harapan Rahayu Kindergarten children, Soko District, Tuban Regency, found that the results of puzzle game media had an effect on increasing problem solving skills in toddler.

The last research on Efforts to Increase Naturalist Intelligence of Children aged 4-5 Years through Playing Sand by Sriyanti Rahmatunnisa and Siti Halimah (2018) found that playing sand can increase the naturalist intelligence of children aged 4-5 years.
