Assessments
We do assessment once a year of all the above subjects (at the end of May); require twice Problem Based Learning Paper Presentation at the mid semester (September and March); and Cambridge Progression Test of English, Math and Science in January. Daily scores are also collected from the performance along the year. Cambridge International Secondary Checkpoint of English, Math and Science will be held in Grade 8.
Our CH Secondary students will go through National Examination (Ujian Sekolah Terkoordinasi) for Matematika, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Inggris subjects, held by Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia. At the end of Secondary-2 (IGCSE Level) learners will assessed by IGCSE assessment. Cambridge IGCSE assessment can include written, oral, coursework and practical assessment. Cambridge IGCSE examination sessions occur twice a year, in June and November. Results are issued in August and January. Grades are benchmarked using eight internationally recognised grades, A* to G, which have clear guidelines to explain the standard of achievement for each grade.
